‎Similarly, Amb. Ogunsola, FCPA, explained that His Excellency, Prince Abiodun, has done well in terms of road rehabilitation and construction.

‎In addition to the new Laderin–Wole Soyinka Train Station Road, he further highlighted some of the projects commissioned, which include: Siun-Owode/Ofada Road, Panseke-Adigbe Road, Arepo–Journalists’ Estate Road, Magboro-Makogi Road, Adesan Road, Mowe; phased lifting of the Interchange–Papalanto Road with reinforced concrete already laid in the first 40-kilometre segment; development of a housing estate at Kobape; a rice farm at Makogi; a Fire and Safety Station at Mowe; and the rehabilitation and construction of classrooms in public primary and secondary schools in Obafemi Owode Local Government.

‎He further stressed the support of Governor Abiodun towards the local government’s construction of Phase 1 of the Ogidan-Geleodun Road to complement state road projects, among others.

‎The council boss further requested the Governor to continue to provide support to the local government, as Obafemi Owode Local Government is the business hub of Ogun State, with its proximity to Lagos and Oyo States respectively, and, like Oliver Twist, sought the construction of the Orimerunmu Road linking the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway and Kobape Township Road, among others.
