Hard work they say is the foundation of success in life” this is the record been considered to recognise the Vice Chairman of Abeokuta North Local Government, Hon Taiyelolu Egbeyemi on Friday 24th of July when he clinched prestigious Award of Excellence from the Nigerian Institute of Architects ultimately dedicated the Award of Excellence to the Council Chairman, Dr. “Lanre Oyegbola-Sodipo.
Architect Olugbenga Akande explained that the Award of Excellence given to Hon. Egbeyemi is premised on his hardwork, dedication, and passion for excellence, especially his contributions towards the capacity building in the Local Government and beyond.
While receiving the Award, Hon. Egbeyemi conveyed his sincere appreciation to the Institute for the recognition. And in the same vein, Hon. Hassan Kabir, Supervisor for Works and Rural Developments also appreciated the Institute who came to honour the Vice Chairman of Abeokuta North Local Government described the Award as a commitment to sustainable progress and better living standards for the people of Abeokuta North Local Government.
Before now, Arch. OluGbenga enunciated on there support as an association of the Institute to partner with the Local Government in terms of policy execution like urban renewal, urban upgrading and to observe regulation which has been the Institute activities. He also emphasized its ongoing partnership with government institutions to promote a built environment that improves quality of life.
Others in attendance were: the LGEA Secretary Abeokuta North Local Government, Chief Oluwole Ayorinde, Senior Special Assistant on Media, Mr. Olukayode Ajibola, Arc. ABIODUN Oresegun and Mr. Abdulkhafid Salako
