Baale Abule Orun, Chief Abdul-Rasak Araokanmi Solanke who live off Idi- Ori, in Abeokuta North Local Government Akomoje; Ogun State Nigeria has appealed to Ogun State Government and those who are in the seat of power both the State and National to help the communities under him Transformer or basic electricity in the town.
The traditional ruler in the four Communities, Chief Solanke expressed dissatisfaction on a live program with Opera Tune FM 106.3 on Saturday 13th, of June 2026 over the government’s neglect and lack of basic amenities in their communities.

Caveattimes online newspaper correspondent who visited the four communities at Abule Orun off Idi-Ori in Abeokuta North Local Government confirmed the painful experience of the blackout in which the residents are presently experiencing.
One of the residents in the communities; Mr. Taiwo Odunbaku stated that they are really lagging behind of amenities due to the non-availability of power supply. He implored the government and well-known individuals to help the four communities out from the inherited of non power supply in the Area.
Mr. Odunbaku further proceeded while Caveattimes online newspaper conrespondent further quizzed him on the step they had taken to ensure the visibility of government electricity in the communities, he said the communities have bought poles and they have mounted them all that currently, they are contributing money for Drum of wire and as well written series of letters to Ogun State Government, Ogun State House of Assembly member representing Abeokuta North constituency, Hon. (Dr.) Babatunde Tella; Rt. Honorable Olumide Osoba and infact, extended the request letters of Transformer to Sen. Solomon Adeola Olamilekan popularly known as Yayi, an APC Ogun State Governorship Candidate for 2027 elections.
He affirmed that through Hon. Adeola Olamilekan known as “Yayi” many communities have received relief by getting transformers. Numerically stated that Sen. Solomon Adeola has facilitated over 100 transformers for hundreds of CDAs therefore pleaded with the Senator not to let his four communities in ABULE Orun to be an exception.
He, however, pleaded with the Ogun State Government to please as well come to their aid.
