…EXPRESSED SATISFACTION WITH THE QUALITY AND PACE OF THE PROJECTS

The Hon. Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy affairs in Ogun State, Hon. Ganiyu Hamzat has expressed satisfaction with the Local Government Chairman, Abeokuta North Local Government, Dr. “Lanre Oyegbola-Sodipo who was ably represented by the Vice Chairman of the Council, Hon. Taiyelolu Egbeyemi for the strategic grassroots-oriented projects commissioned on Wednesday 29th, 2026.
Speaking during the commissioning of the legacy projects in the Local Government Secretariat, Hon. Commissioner, Hon. HAMZAT commended Dr. Oyegbola-Sodipo’s administration for delivering instant dividends of democracy to people at the grassroots expressed possible satisfaction with the quality and pace of projects done in a prompt circle of time.
He also appreciated His Excellency, Prince Dapo ABIODUN CON for giving all the Local Government Chairman in Ogun State the necessary support for them to achieve laudable project and in the same vein thanked the Local Government’s Legislators for their unflinching help resulting to binding energy achievement in the Local Government Area.
Meanwhile, before then, the Chairman of the Council Area ably represented by the Vice Chairman, Hon. Taiyelolu Egbeyemi said the legacy projects were implemented by Dr. Oyegbola-Sodipo administration to improve the lives of people at the grassroots level. Further mentioned that the administration would continue to support the communities in the council to carrying out laudable projects for the people.
While speaking at the commissioning ceremony, the Vice Chairman, Hon. Egbeyemi in addition urged residents in the communities where the projects are actually located to protect and maintain public facilities.
“Ensure to make use of projects the Local Government has provided for you in the Communities, care for them with appropriate efforts and as well ensure quick response to any fault that may come up in a periodic use as to ensure their sustainability” Hon. Egbeyemi advised.
Adding meaningful contribution to the maintenance of the executed projects, the duo Secretary to the Local Government and Leader of the Local Government Legislative Arm, Engr. (Mrs) Mutiat Agbaje and Hon. Muruf Ajani Erubami submitted that the residents in the communities should always keep their eyes on the projects howbeit said the commissioning of landmark projects are key to communities that would now bring succor to many things.
However, the All Progressive Congress (APC) Party Chairman, Alhja Sarumi AKINTUNDE Faidat at Imala while granting interview with OGTV at Community Primary School Oke Odo Imala said the chairman has made an indelible achievement by extending dividends of democracy to people in the Local Government urged the teacher to be more impactful on the pupils in terms of what they need to know
A popular Radio Station caller at Saraki Ilupeju community Opara 1 Rounda, Mr. Sule Obadimu popularly known as Kase-Kamo, Baale Opara 1, 2, &3, Kamorudeen Adebowale and the Area Community Developments Committee Chairman, Mr Kazeem Lawal appreciated the administration for giving them the Solar-Powered Borehole said what the Council has done for them is remarkable.
Also, Pastor Adekunle Abednego, Headteachers in the renovated Primary Schools thanked Abeokuta North Local Government Council’s Chairman for ensuring good facilities for the pupils in Abeokuta North Local Government said this would serve as motivation for the Pupils.
Acting Head of the Local Government Administration in the Local Government, Sanitarian Olajumoke Racheal Ayoade lucidly explained that the facilities are part of efforts of Dr. Oyegbola-Sodipo administration’s efforts to strengthen public institutions, revive infrastructure, and make the Government’s impact felt.
