A renowned Entertainer, Musician and Artist, popularly known as Dr. Oyimlomo Diamond has appealed to Government to take decisive actions on how to restore peace and at the same time rescue the abductees who are presently in the net of perpetrators.
According to her, stated that she is deeply displeased and heartbroken by the worsening state of insecurity across the Nation.
That, Every day, innocent citizens live in fear of kidnappings, bandit attacks, armed robberies, and violent crimes which continue to claim lives and destroy families.
”It is painful that many people can no longer travel freely, sleep peacefully, or go about their daily activities without anxiety. The constant reports of abductions and killings have created an atmosphere of uncertainty and sorrow throughout the country”.
”Our greatest concern is that countless victims and their families continue to suffer while many communities remain vulnerable to attacks. The safety and protection of citizens should be a top priority, yet many Nigerians feel abandoned and unheard”. Oyimlomo expressed displeasure.
She, however, called on the government and all relevant security agencies to take urgent, decisive, and effective action to restore peace, rescue victims, and bring perpetrators to justice. That every Nigerian deserves the right to live without fear, and the continued insecurity facing the nation is unacceptable. She, nevertheless, demands a safer, more secure Nigeria where the lives and welfare of citizens are valued above political interests and ambitions.
