Honourable Adekunle Ajayi Abdul-Lateef popularly called “LATI IYANA”, Councilor Obafemi Owode Local Government representing Ward 3 at Owode Egba on Saturday 28th of February 2026 has orchestrated 6th considerable Ramadan Lecture implored congregation to imbibe spirit of virtues as requested by the Islam.
The Managing Director and the Chairman Adekunle Ajayi Real-Estate Property, Hon. Adekunle also advised the residents at the 6th edition of the Annual Ramadan wishing them Ramadan Mubarak/Kareem that: Sawman Maqbulan wa Iftaran Shahiyyan (that their fast be accepted and their breakfast delicious, Kullu ‘am wa antum bi-khayr, that May every year find them in good health. He added that the congregation should emulate the teachings of the Holy Month of Ramadan charged while responding to questions from Media Men
Hon. Adekunle, affirmed that the annual lecture is as a result of admirable quality is to influence styles of attendees, hence the reason for its sustenance.
Further said, Ramadan period is a sacred phenomenon that indicates the season to instil in the audience the recognition of the Muslims in the division. That the solemn religious ceremony is to form the dispositional structure of congregation and the residents and to implant in their heart ultimate practice of Islam in the society.
“I so much believe that the teaching of today will have positive impact on everyone seated here in the area of helping them to leave away with sort of character that is not of or not in line of Allah”, Hon. Adekunle stated.
Alhaji Mohammad Kazeem however offered a prayer for the development of Owode Egba and the Local Government respectively, while Fidau Prayer was Islamically extended to the Late Parents of the Lawmaker, Alhaji and Alhaja Adekunle by sheikh Ruhullahi Arikewuyo that their reposes should continue to rest by the Allah.
The Local Government Executive Chairman, Hon. ‘Lanre Adesina Ogunsola FCPA, thanked the people of Owode Egba for supporting their Councilor in all aspects that today Ramadan lecture is staged to understand more and to emulate the character of Islam
The guest Lecturer, Alhaji Fadeelat Shaykh Abubakri Olayinka Ojibara charged the political office holders to rule in the fear of God who hinged his lecture on moral while admonishing the congregation to be virtuous and be there brothers’ keeper in every endeavor of lives and as well afford their character to teach the lesson of Holy Prophet Muhammad SAW.
The highpoint of the event is the distribution of bags of rice to the Asalat women and league Imam in the Local Government (Obafemi Owode Local Government).
The auspicious occasion was graced by Imams.and Alfas in Obafemi-Owode Local Government, Party and Community Leaders.
