The Chairman of Abeokuta North Local Government , Dr. ‘ Lanre Oyegbola-Sodipo, has congratulated the Government and good people of Ogun State as the state marks its 50th anniversary of creation.
In a goodwill message to commemorate the historic milestone, the Chairman described the Golden Jubilee as a moment of reflection on the remarkable journey of Ogun State, noting its steady growth, resilience, and contributions to national development since its creation in 1976.
According to Dr . Oyegbola-Sodipo, Ogun State has remained a pacesetter in education, industry, culture, and governance, producing great leaders and citizens who have continued to make the state proud both nationally and internationally.
He further commended the present administration of His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun CON, Governor of Ogun State, for its commitment to people-oriented policies, infrastructural development, and good governance across the state, including at the grassroots level.
The Local Government boss reaffirmed the commitment of Abeokuta North Local Government to supporting the vision of the state government and working tirelessly to ensure sustainable development, peace, and improved welfare for residents of the local government area.
As Ogun State celebrates 50 years of existence, the Chairman urged citizens to remain united, peaceful, and supportive of government efforts, expressing optimism that the future holds greater prosperity for the Gateway State.
