…Two-Day Project Commissioning Programme Holds August 27th and 31st, 2026.
The Executive Chairman of Obafemi Owode Local Government, Amb. Adesina ‘Lanre Ogunsola, FCPA is set to commission another set of people-oriented projects across various wards of the Local Government Area as part of his administration’s commitment to improve infrastructure and enhancing the quality of life of residents.
The commissioning programme will start on Thursday, August 27th, 2026, and Monday, August 31st, 2026, covering key projects in education, water supply, commerce, road infrastructure and administrative facelifts.
DAY ONE — THURSDAY, AUGUST 27th, 2026.
10:00 a.m. — Commissioning of Motor-Way Culvert at Oloko-Isu Street, Ifelodun Jaguna CDA, off Laderin Train Station Road, Egbeda Ward.
11:00 a.m. — Commissioning of a Block of Two Classrooms,Head Teacher Office and Store at Owojo, Ajebo Ward.
1:00 p.m. — Commissioning of a Block of Two Classrooms at N.U.D. Primary School, Mowe, Ofada Ward.
2:30 p.m. — Commissioning of a Motorised Borehole at Alufa Village, Ajura Ward.
3:30 p.m. — Commissioning of the Reconstructed Information, Education and Agriculture Departments Block at the Local Government Secretariat.
DAY TWO — MONDAY, AUGUST 31st, 2026
11:00 a.m. — Commissioning of Ten Lock-Up Shops at Kajola Market.
1:00 p.m. — Commissioning of a Block of Two Classrooms and Office at United Anglican Primary School, Moloko Asipa.
2:00 p.m. — Commissioning of 1.3KM Asphalt Road at Ita Baale Mango–Oluwo–Adigbe.
The projects are part of the administration’s ongoing efforts to deliver sustainable development, strengthen basic infrastructure and provide tangible dividends of democracy to communities across Obafemi Owode Local Government.
Residents, community leaders, stakeholders and well-wishers are invited to join the Local Government Chairman and his team during the commissioning ceremonies.
Together, we are building a better, stronger and more developed Obafemi Owode Local Government, as a part of effort in complementing the infrastructural development initiatives of His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun CON in Ogun State.
