In ensuring quality education to the people of Obafemi – Owode Local Government in Ogun State, the Ward 3 Councilor at Owode Egba of the Local Government, Hon. Adekunle Ajayi Abdul-Lateef popularly know as “Laati Iyana” has offered free Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Registration to the intending 100 Candidates of the Local Government; this he said it happens every Year to support the education in the various communities of Obafemi Owode Local Government.
The Local Government Lawmaker, Hon Adekunle revealed this in a chat on the email of the Caveattimesonline newspaper on Thursday, stating that the gesture is aimed at supporting the students in achieving their dreams in the face of the social and economic challenges plaguing the society.
He affirmed that the free JAMB 100 Forms of 2026/2027 JAMB examination extending to the candidates is an initiated scheme to support parents and students which is ongoing nationwide. Further said the academic growth of the youths in his Local Government, “Obafemi-Owode Local Government” is very important to him that the initiatives is practically done every year to build capacity among the young once.
Honourable Adekunle now pleading with the beneficiaries to take the full advantage of the opportunity by attaching seriousness and total commitment in the light to ensuring academic excellence, equally advising them to know that whatever they will become in life, education is the stepping ladder and a vital tool to get fortunes in life.
He further stated that eligible candidates must be bona fide indigenes of Obafemi-Owode Local Government Area.
