Political Leaders, elders and stakeholders of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Obafemi Zone in Obafemi-Owode Local Government has formally adopted Hon. Nike Ademokun Osoba as the party’s consensus Ogun State House of Assembly Obafemi-Owode State Constituency ahead of the forthcoming Primary Election.
The leaders reaffirmed the adoption on Thursday 14th, May 2026 during a stakeholders’ meeting held at the Alhaji, Lai Sobayo Hotel Hall, Kemta Idi-Aba, Ajebo Road Abeokuta Ogun State Nigeria
According to the Caveattimes online newspaper reports that the mammoth crowd which consist APC Leaders in Obafemi Zone unanimously agreed to support Hon. Nike Ademokun Osoba in the forthcoming Primary Election of the State Constituency.
Concisely to this, all APC Party Chairmen in Obafemi-Owode Local Government used the medium to outrightly declared Hon Mrs. Nike Ademokun Osoba as their sole candidate they will support in the forthcoming Primary Election.
However, Rt. Hon. Samson Tunji Egbetokun at the stakeholders meeting appealed to all APC members of Obafemi Zone to remain steadfast and not agitated on any political matter that aligns with primary Elections of any post in Ogun State, advised the members to reach out to members at the grassroots level. Explained further to make known to them the APC plans ahead 2027 General Elections.
The Executive Chairman of Obafemi-Owode Local Government, Amb. Adesina ‘Lanre Ogunsola FCPA, also submitted that what is of paramount concern to them in Obafemi Zone is to maintain peaceful manner and unity amongst members.
Chairman Obafemi Zone, Chief Soyoye Obasanjo thanked the members for their formidable commitment to ensuring coexistence in the Party most expecially in Obafemi Zone urged them to follow the paths of the Leaders stated that the Leaders in the Zone will not fail them.
