As part of the celebration of Ogun @ 50, the Chairman of Abeokuta North Local Government, Dr. ‘Lanre Oyegbola-Sodipo has staged a befitting anniversary celebration for the People in the Local Government, he urged the dwellers to support the present Government of the led Administration of Prince Dapo ABIODUN CON, Ogun State Governor.
The event which was held at Oba Odeleye Park, Ori-Omi, Sokori Abeokuta brought colour, music to inspire people’s emotion to be aroused for excitement of the golden Jubilee Anniversary in Ogun State.
According to him, the Executive Chairman of the Local Government, Dr. Oyegbola-Sodipo reaffirmed that the celebration of the 50th anniversary is a moment of reflection, responsibility and renewal.
While thanking His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun for the level playing ground giving to the Local Government most especially, the ongoing construction from Ilugun which he said would link up Ago-odo road, enjoining the residents to continue to support him in order for the State Governor to do more in the Local Government.
He further thanked the Youths within the Local Government for their unflinching support that the major focus of his Led Administraton in the Year 2026 centres on the Youths, Health and Agriculture.

Former Local Government Chairman and Former House of Assembly Member in Ogun State, Barrister Habeeb Ajayi and Full-time Commissioner 1 at Ogun State Local Government Service Commission; Hon. Femi Adiro added that the celebration is more than milestone because it makes the State to record measurable progress in economic growth, infrastructural development, education, healthcare delivery and the restoration of public trust in government which has given birth to even distribution of projects in Ogun State through the visionary Governor of Ogun State, Prince Abiodun.

Mutiat Omowunmi Agbaje Supervisors, Special Advisers, Special Assistants, LGEA Secretary, Chief Oluwole Ayorinde, Head of the Local Government Administration, Mrs. Kikelomo Munirat Ajayi, APC political stalwart, Management staff and other members of staff.
